When you make changes to your integrated systems (for example, changes to a database schema), Axiom does not get updated about these changes until the next scheduled Scan runs.

Scan is the Axiom process of traversing all resources in an integrated system and creating a map (graph) of these resources, and their relationships.

Scans run automatically (typically every 24 hours), and take from several minutes up to an hour or more to fully complete (depending on the complexity of your integrated system).

If you want Axiom to immediately become aware of changes you made to your integrated system, you can initiate a manual scan.
